Sterling
Grant and Associates, L.L.C. was formed by John Milne in 1999
as a retail agency with a strong focus in contracting, entertainment
and public auto transportation. The staff assembled has many years
of experience in insurance for these industries, in various roles
including retail operations, risk management, managing general agencies,
underwriting and program management.
One of the founding
principals of the agency was to have staff members gain a comprehensive
understanding of all facets of each class of business that was written,
with this principal continuing today. This objective is obtained
by the hiring and retention of highly qualified insurance professionals,
state of the art management information systems and a service first
orientation that pervades the organization.
One of the key
members of the Sterling Grant staff is John Milne, who started the
agency after fourteen years experience working for other insurance
firms. In keeping with the philosophy of understanding the businesses
of his clients, John is a Board Member for the Arizona Homebuilders
Care Organization and Executive Board Member/Treasurer for the Arizona
Production Association.
Other team members
are active in the Taxi, Limousine and Paratransit Association (TLPA)
participating as a speaker during educational sessions at national
meetings, and working on subcommittees for the paratransit section.
