John Milne, Founder & Managing Member

In the Southwest the Milne name has been synonymous with personal and commercial insurance for more than 40 years. John began his insurance career in 1985 working with the family agency moving to Los Angeles in 1988 to accept a position with Alexander and Alexander as a senior account executive. Upon his return to Phoenix in 1992, John established himself as a leading broker specializing in large accounts including the launch of an offshore captive dedicated to the entertainment industry, underwriting worker's compensation. In 1999, John and his partners successfully launched Sterling Grant & Associates, LLC, a full-service brokerage dedicated to Golden Rule business principals where the clients' interest are always first. John is an active member of Arizona Surplus Lines Association and a board member of the Arizona Production Association as well as a board member of Arizona Baseball Charities.
